ORIS Color Tuner™ is a professional contract proofing system for inkjet devices from Canon, Epson, HP and other manufacturers. Version 5.2 includes setup wizards, automatic device calibration, accurate spot color simulation (including Hexachrome) and much more. Winner of the GATF InterTech Award, ORIS Color Tuner provides consistent color matching and proof consistency for print buyers, publishers, prepress houses and printers - at a fraction of the cost of other proofing systems. It was the first such system to be SWOP and FOGRA certified.
ORIS Certified Proof™ is an easy-to-use quality control system for any contract proofing environment. It supports color specifications from SWOP and FOGRA, as well as custom color characterizations. Available on both Windows and Mac OS, ORIS Certified Proof provides per-proof verification and trend analysis - reducing costs associated with inaccurate proofs and subsequent disputes.
ORIS Works™ is a modular workflow automation system for publishers and printers. Using a versatile "toolbox" approach, ORIS Works provides automated file conversion, preflight, load balancing, prepress and much more. The system supports all major prepress file formats, and can convert files to any desired color space, making it ideal for a truly automated - and cost saving - color-managed workflow. ORIS Works also has a job ticket database option, and can easily integrate with existing production systems.
ORIS PDF Tuner™ (formerly ORIS Page™) is a full editing environment for PDF and PostScript files. It can open customer-supplied files, allow for a full range of last-minute corrections, and output print-ready pages in all major file formats, including DCS, Scitex, TIFF/IT, PostScript, PDF/X and others. Available on both Windows and Mac OS, ORIS PDF Tuner is also a powerful page creation application, offering full retouch, illustration and page layout capabilities.

We combine precise color management (ORIS Color Tuner™) with industry-specific proofing papers and inks to produce accurate and consistent color proofs. Our inkjet proofing supplies are ideal for all your proofing needs.
CGS Proofing Papers
ORISPROOF™ contract proofing papers from CGS Publishing Technologies International are each designed to achieve an accurate color match to any target, and maintain color consistency over time. When used with ORIS Color Tuner, ORISPROOF papers provide superior, dependable proofing performance.
The ORIS PearlPROOF™ family of proofing papers is formulated to meet the demanding requirements of all major print market segments. The paper color and semi-matte finish are designed to match the visual appearance of a #1 press sheet (PearlPROOF Super, PSMWS) for high-end printing, a #3 sheet (PearlPROOF Commercial, PSMWC) for general commercial printing, and a #5 sheet (PearlPROOF Publication, PSMP)  for web offset magazine and catalog printing. Software paper simulation is not necessary. In addition, PearlPROOF papers have no optical brighteners, so the proof will not be adversely affected by many common viewing conditions. PearlPROOF is compatible with CGS’ Long Life Extended (LLE™) ink and Epson’s UltraChrome™ pigment ink, in addition to dye-based inks from Canon and CGS.
For some applications, ORIS UniversalPROOF™ (USMW) paper offers an economical proofing solution. This semi-matte paper is compatible with CGS LLE and Epson UltraChrome inks. For users who require a different paper finish, ORIS SelectPROOF™, ORIS SatinPROOF™, ORIS GlossyPROOF™ and ORIS MattePROOF™ are also available. For newspaper environments, ORIS NewsPROOF™ provides accurate newsprint simulation for proofing – at an affordable price.
For users of older inkjet printers, such as the Epson Stylus Pro 7500, ORIS ClassicPROOF™ is the answer. This semi-matte paper is designed to work with dye-based inks from CGS, and was a key factor in ORIS’ initial adoption by major printers and publishers around the world.
Several specialty papers are also available from CGS. ORIS DoublePROOF™ provides two-sided proofing on either matte or semi-matte paper. For users of toner-based devices, such as digital copiers, ORIS LaserPROOF™ paper provides high-quality color output for intermediate or “comp” use during the design process.
