Winston Lum started his company 17 years ago and has enjoyed success ever since. His Mississauga company, Accu Litho, employs eighteen people on two shifts and provides complete prepress services, from design and artwork through to the finished plates.

Though he still employs his imagesetter to output film, Winston says this part of his business has rapidly declined since he purchased an Esko-Graphics Merlin CTP system from Partners Graphic Support less than a year ago.

“The Merlin works very well for us,” says Winston,

“because it’s first generation and the quality and accuracy are excellent. The printers we are serving now get excellent results from these plates and are very happy with them.”

Winston has been dealing with Partners Graphic Support Service & Supply for over 10 years and says he is extremely happy with them, especially their service.

 “They are really good at supporting us, especially as we are a smaller company. They do a very good job for us. The majority of the equipment we have here came from Partners and their support is very good.”
Winston deals directly with Steve Watkins, one of the partners, and says Steve “...knows a lot of stuff and really goes out of his way to make us happy.”
As for service, Winston adds, “If we do have any problems, Partners always helps us out, either directly or through one of their customers.”
Accu Litho also purchases the majority of their consumables from Partners.
